Sleepover parties have always been popular amongst children and Sleepunder parties were one of the first in the Yorkshire area to introduce camping indoors.
Indoor Camping Parties – A busy mum, Amanda, who also teaches business and travel at a local college, started her sleepover business after first testing it out on daughter Molly and her friends for a birthday treat. It was a huge success bringing camping indoors and making special memories with her friends.
Indoor Camping Parties – The indoor tents provide each child with their own tent, bed, bedding, lighting and of course treats to make a perfect sleepover experience. It’s a completely hassle-free experience for parents with everything being fully set up by Amanda, who returns the following day to take it all away.
The success of the company has grown rapidly with Amanda setting up for Emmerdale stars Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden most recently, for their sons’ outdoor birthday extravaganza which was featured in Hello Magazine. Plus, a selection of other well-known local names including Catherine Tyldesley and Natalie Anderson who wanted to give their children the Sleepunder experience.
The business is thriving and is fully booked most weekends, the success of the indoor tents led to outdoor bell tents being launched in the summer of last year. They can sleep up to six people in each tent with cosy duvets, bedding, eye masks, blankets and a treat hamper. The tents are fully waterproof too so whatever the weather, every party is guaranteed to be a fabulous success!
Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton was amongst one of Amanda’s celebrity clients to book a bell tent for her family last summer, word is spreading quickly through celebrity circles to give their children a unique and exciting way to celebrate any occasion with their friends.
Bell tents are available to hire from April – September (weather permitting) whilst the indoor camps are available all year round. Amanda told us; “This year we are launching our grazing tents working alongside local providers and small businesses in the area. Bell tents are perfect for family glamping and celebrations and 2021 looks to be bumper year for us.”
