Our girl Rachel McAlley headed to Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge for a cuppa and slice of cake recently, nothing strange about this we hear you say, until you realise she visited Natashkino, the most punk pop-up she has seen in recent years!

I follow @natashkinoltd on Instagram, so when the opportunity arose to visit the newly launched pop-up takeaway and souvenir shop in Harvey Nichols London, I jumped at the chance.
Okay, so Natashkino isn’t your run of the mill takeaway cafe, far from it, all the produce is full of vitamins and may contain CBD, collagen, or turmeric, not at all like a normal coffee and cake but so worth it. Each and every ingredient is natural and the company have a zero-waste policy. Plus, all the packaging is made from recycled materials.
The thing you notice first at the pop-up is that the designer Natasha Zinko loves bright pink, unusual flavours, and playfulness. Oh, and she rather likes to add an occasional swear word to her cakes, bakes, and frothy coffees too!
These cakes and drinks are all about letting your inhibitions go out the window and enjoying new flavours with a little added cheekiness. That’s what I loved about Natashkino. I was lucky to be offered a few different cookies and cakes whilst at the pop-up, so I tried an iced Colacao which was literally the stuff that iced cold drink dreams are made of. This ice blended cold chocolate drink was insanely good in the heat of the London sun, it wasn’t only refreshing it was exhilarating and flavourful aplenty.
Then I sampled a Mochi Matcha Cookie, an Oreshiki Praline Cookie, a Vanilla Croissant, and a Matcha F*ck Off Vegan Tart – yes I was stuffed, but oh my god these cakes and bakes were so completely different to anything I have previously tasted.
Natashkino also sells cute souvenirs like hoodies, socks, and face masks – it is the quirkiest punkiest pop-up that I have ever been to!
