These days we have integrated AI into our everyday routine by using things like smart door bells, CCTV, smart TV’s, and of course our mobile phones. In today’s society we are used to having our vacuum cleaner work by itself around the house. Additionally, we can turn our washing machine on from an office location, and set the timer on our coffee machine to brew as we wake. Life is definitely getting easier with the use of AI.
Our current fascination is with all things AI, so we asked our writer, Rachel McAlley to review a Lepro O1 AI Floor Lamp and let us know what she thought.
Lepro has over 30 million customers across Europe, North America, and Asia. They focus on AI lighting, indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, and commercial lighting. The company itself predates ChatGPT, and Lepro is a trailblazer in AI lighting.
The light was extremely easy to build, it took less than 3 minutes once unboxed. I was excited about setting the Lepro app on my phone. Furthermore, once the app was up and running, I played around with the settings and set my pre-programmed lighting.
I placed the lamp in the living room behind the sofa for an ambient evening light, replacing my existing table lamp. Moreover, it is easy to move around, and can be used in other rooms like the bedroom, office, study, gaming room or play room.
Equally, it does require WiFi and a plug socket, and can be turned on and off via the button located on the lamp itself. However, I am solely using my mobile phone and the Lepro app to turn it on and off.

Allows you to create and design your own lighting effect. LightGPM is trained in both lighting design knowledge alongside colour psychology. All you need to do is play around with the Lepro app and change the colour formations.
LightBeats Music Sync
You can make the colours dance, swish, revolve, move slowly or fast, go up or down to the rhythm of your tunes and music. This is all due to the LightBeats algorithms and a highly-sensitive built-in microphone.
Easy Lighting Design
There are 6 dynamic modes, 16 million RGB colour options, and as mentioned previously, adjustable speeds. It features 2700K to 5700K colour temperature, and is 0 to 100% dimmable.
Voice Control, Alexa, and Google Assistant
The AI O1 Floor Lamp is compatible with both Alexa and Google Assistant. Meaning that you can control your WiFi smart floor lamp with simple voice commands. You don’t require a hub, it does however need to connect to the Lepro app via 2.4Ghz WiFi in order to use the features.
Sharing Controls and Setting Timers
Lepro smart lamps can share control permissions with family members for everyone to use in and out of the home. Plus, if you want to set a timer, brightener, or dimmer this can all be done via the app.

My Thoughts on the Lepro O1
Aside from my mobile phone, Smart TV, and CCTV at home I don’t have anything else that is AI, until I started using the Lepro O1 AI Floor Lamp.
As I said above it is easy to use and easy to move around the home. I have mainly used it as an ambient light within the white mode for evening lighting in the living room. However, my daughter has found the RGB colours to be much more fun and has been playing with sound and lighting to match the tv programmes we have watched. In addition, she had a disco in the living room using all the lights on the lamp! Equally, she turned everything orange for Halloween!
It’s early days but I’m going to be more adventurous with the lighting and may venture over to the colour-side throughout the autumn and winter nights. So far, I’m loving the Lepro O1 AI Floor Lamp.
