Personal Experience Inspires New All-in-One Supplement
A new, all-in-one, evidence-based supplement called ActiFlex™ from Positive Science People has launched following the personal journey of its founder to find the best nutritional support for her experience and lifestyle.
All-in-one health supplement – After being diagnosed with arthritis in her early 30s, Positive Science People’s founder Sandra Witzel found herself in immense pain and barely able to walk. Forced to give up work, she endured four painful operations to replace both knees and hips, and made it a personal mission to discover ways to help her experience the best quality of life.
An inspiration to anyone facing major challenges in life and, in particular, the many people struggling with chronic health issues, Sandra went on a global journey of discovery researching the relevant scientific data and the associated lifestyle advice, including the most effective diet, exercise and nutritional support.
After attending a rheumatology clinic in Berlin, she found no real answers or solutions. When the situation became so desperate she couldn’t work or walk, she began to do her own research and try different options, such as homeopathy and Chinese Medicine. She found that functional medicines helped her best and began to look at the connections between functional and conventional medicines.
Sandra then developed an interest in lifestyle factors, especially diet including coq10 supplements, exercise and other nutritious supplementation. She also studied for a Health Coaching Diploma from the Institute of Integrated Nutrition, which helped her understand there isn’t one simple solution to health issues. Having subsequently lived in both Australia and the United States of America, she brought a global, holistic health view back to the UK.
All-in-one health supplement – Sandra found that taking 15 different vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts every day was expensive and time consuming, so she developed a product that combined all of these carefully selected nutrients together in one capsule.
