Somerset Estate Announces New Menopause Retreat for Autumn

A new wellness retreat offering guests a sanctuary of serenity within the Somerset countryside is launching a transformative Menopause Retreat this autumn, designed specifically for women navigating the complexities of menopause.

The Navigating the Menopause Retreat will take place at Orchardleigh Wellness, near Frome, this October 25th – 27th offering a peaceful and nurturing environment for women to reconnect with themselves while learning tools to manage the challenges of this pivotal life stage.

The Navigating the Menopause Retreat will offer a bespoke programme blending educational workshops with holistic treatments, as well as a combination of Yin Yoga for Menopause, Pilates, meditation, breathwork, and sound healing sessions.

Additionally, the retreat features nutritional workshops focusing on hormone health, lifestyle advice, and practical tips for managing menopause symptoms and complementary therapies including Qigong sessions, and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda – again with a specific focus on learning practices that bring balance and harmony.

Expert practitioners will be sharing their knowledge across both days of the event. These include Pauline Cox, a renowned functional nutritionist, leader in the field of functional nutrition and integrative medicine specialist. Also providing her expertise to the event is Hazel Hayden, a British Menopause Society registered Menopause Specialist operating at the Bristol Menopause Clinic.

The founder of the Orchardleigh Wellness Retreats, Samantha Newby-Vincent, highlighted the importance of creating a supportive space for women navigating the menopause.

“This retreat offers women the chance to not only escape the daily pressures of life but also to focus on their health and wellbeing during this transformative phase. With guidance from expert therapists, participants will feel empowered to navigate menopause with confidence and clarity.”
