Do you feel as though the clothes you have don’t fit as well as they could? If so then now is the time for you to do something about that.
This guide will talk you through the things that you can do to make sure that you are always looking your best. Do your clothes fit properly?
Blouses and Shirts

A top might fit you for the most part, but one annoying issue would be if it gaps or if you have to constantly adjust it. Horizontal stress lines that pull away from your underarms or your neckline may mean that the top is just too narrow for your shape. If you can go up a size then this can mean you end up looking thinner when wearing the garment. Gapping is a major issue and properly placed buttons can stop this. If possible, you need to find a top that has buttons on the widest part of the bustline. Going up a size is also an option, as it will change the placement of the centre button. If going up a size is not an option then fabric tape can hold your garment closed until you are able to solve the issue.
Pants

When choosing pants, you should be able to fit two fingers into the waistband. If the back gaps in the waist then this means that the pants are simply the wrong shape for you. Side pockets and any pleats should be flat. Gaping pockets will also add a lot of width to your hips and this can mean that your pants don’t end up fitting as well as they could. Pant length will often vary with style, so make sure you keep that in mind.
Shoes

Ideally, your toe box should be high and it should be wide enough so that it accommodates your foot without any kind of pinching. At the end of the day, if you have hammer toes or if you have bunions then you may need a shoe that has a flexible top. The best thing about this is that it will stretch with your foot. If you are always buying shoes that are too big then one thing you can do is shop through a small size women’s shoes specialist.
Bras

Your cup should not run over. If it does then it’s too small. If you have issues such as puckering or gapping then this means that your cup size is too large. Straps that slide off your shoulders, or that dig in also mean that your bra doesn’t fit you properly. The centre of your bra should lay flat against your ribs as this means that the bra structure is doing the heavy lifting and not the straps. At the end of the day, it’s a good idea for you to visit a professional bra fitting service at least once a year as this is the best way for you to make sure that you are always wearing something that is the right size.
