Cosmetic beauty treatments and semi-permanent makeup has never been more popular, eyebrows are a procedure I have been toying with for a couple of years. But finding the right person has always been a struggle.
I wanted a natural, subtle result where people would compliment my eyebrows and not speak to them in fascination, which I have found myself doing on many an occasion to people with badly done brows! I know it’s rude, but I can’t seem to stop staring.

I made my consultation appointment and was amazed at how many different ways there are for semi-permanent eyebrows. Elle educated me in the ones she does:
Ombre – a semi-permanent technique which creates a softly shaded brow pencil look by placing tiny dots of pigment into the skin.
Microblading – this semi-permanent technique creates the illusion of full brows with natural looking hair strokes.
Combination – a combination of both techniques, giving natural looking hair strokes and applied dots of pigment for fullness.
I decided on Ombre as the perfect one to start with, especially as I was still a little nervous about the end result. In fact, Elle suggested she shape and tint my brows first to give me an idea of how they would look. I could live with them for two weeks until I had them done properly.
This was the perfect solution for me and I loved the fact that Elle was able to put me at my ease and prepare me for the more permanent procedure later on.

With over 10 years’ experience in the industry, Elle has a Batchelor’s degree in Cosmetology with Medicine. Medical Cosmetology largely deals with skin care – problems like pimples, acne, wrinkles, dark spots, requiring medical expertise; and treatments such as muscle relaxants and fillers are performed by medical cosmetologists or skin specialists.
When Elle was around 19, she fell in love with skin, beauty and the power of makeup. After studying the many different topics and doing makeup for photoshoots and TV, she decided to bite the bullet and launch her own business doing what she loves the most – making people feel confident and loving how they look.
