The beauty craze that has taken over the western world is Korean skincare and beauty, and we’re here for it. Are you into all things Korean yet?
Skin Cupid is an online store with over 150 Korean brands to choose between, plus a physical store in central London. They stock famous brands such as COSRX, BEAUTY OF JOSEON, and ANUA and many lesser-known Korean brands.
Our beauty writers, Rachel McAlley and Victoria Reddington were invited to visit Jeju Island, a summer pop-up roadshow by Skin Cupid, held around the UK in different cities. They both visited the Leeds pop-up store on Briggate.
This gave Rachel and Victoria the chance to meet members of the Skin Cupid team, and find out more about some of the brands they work with. The pop-up store had plenty of products to find out about, and all were available to purchase during weekend-ling event.
Skin Cupid Event
Once open to the public across the weekend of 12th and 13th September visitors were able to discover and shop six leading Korean beauty brands. These brands included ANUA, PURITO SEOUL, KUNDAL, MIXSOON, MANYO and DEAR, KLAIRS. A number of selected products had an extra 20% off exclusively at the pop-up event, which was a bonus for all shoppers.
The visitors were able to purchase a gift for just £15 which included a Jeju Island Skin Cupid Tote Bag, packed with a number of complimentary K-Beauty products inside. Furthermore, the first 1,000 visitors each day received a free full-size Dear, Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop worth £28.00.

DEAR, KLAIRS
One of the largest global Korean skincare brands around today is DEAR, KLAIRS. With over 5,400 online and offline stores, it is trusted to delivery quality items. They look to showcase positive beauty through gentle and effective products for sensitive skin.
