An Open Weekend at Wenningdale Escapes, the luxury holiday lodge park set amongst the scenic fairways of Bentham Golf Course, is set to take place at the end of September and will now include a special Society Golf Day on Monday, 29th September.
Beginning on Saturday, 27th September, with the golf day on the Monday, the Marshall family will be welcoming visitors to explore the wide range of holiday options available at the park. Guests will be able to view stylish lodges currently for sale, as well as glamping pods designed for short stay-and-play breaks. There will also be information on caravan holiday homes available to purchase at the family’s nearby Riverside Caravan Park, providing further choice for those looking to invest in a holiday retreat.
The Society Golf Day on the Monday offers a perfect chance for golfers to enjoy a round with friends or colleagues at a discounted rate of just £20 per person. Those who pre-register will also be treated to a complimentary bacon butty before heading out onto the course, adding an extra touch of Yorkshire hospitality to the day.
Visitors throughout the weekend will also be able to take part in guided tours of the lodges, getting a real feel for the quality and comfort of the interiors. Away from the show homes, golfers can make the most of the excellent facilities at Bentham Golf Course, which include a driving range, a well-stocked pro-shop, an indoor golf studio and a welcoming clubhouse.
The setting is another highlight, with Bentham lying neatly between the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland – a trio of landscapes that make the area ideal for walking, cycling and exploring. The open weekend therefore offers not only a taste of the golfing lifestyle, but also a chance to discover the wider outdoor opportunities that make the location so appealing.
The Marshall family, who have been in the holiday park industry since 1969, are members of the British Holiday & Home Parks Association, underlining their long-standing reputation for good practice. Since taking on Bentham Golf Club in 2009, they have invested heavily in the course, introducing luxury lodges and glamping pods to create a vibrant and welcoming destination. Passionate and hands-on in their approach, the family are keen to meet visitors and share their enthusiasm during the weekend.
