The Best UK Seaside Towns to Visit

There is so much that the UK has on offer when it comes to travelling and seeing its many vistas. But one of the main attractions for a lot of people is actually in coming to see the coastline.

There are so many attractive and stunning seaside towns across the UK that are well worth a visit, from the tiny hamlets to large cities, and it’s definitely something that offers up a varied experience. Here are some of the very best UK seaside towns that you may wish to visit this coming year.

Whitby

This is one of the best-known tourist spots along the coast, despite its slightly smaller scale, and that’s a well-deserved thing indeed. It is incredibly beautiful, after all, as well as offering some of the best eateries for fish and chips anywhere you will find in the UK. This beautiful town is absolutely one of the first places you should visit if you want to get a good sense of everything that seaside towns tend to offer in the UK. You’ll find that it really does have it all.

Deal

If you are keen on trying to find a seaside town with a vibrant, creative community, then you could do far worse than a visit to the beautiful town of Deal in Kent. On top of that, it boasts one of the highest numbers of restaurants of a town of its size, and the quality of food at all those restaurants is right up there too. It’s a perfect town for walking around, getting a little lost, and then whiling away the afternoon at the pub too, so all in all it’s well worth a visit.

Bamburgh

Whether or not you have heard of this Northumberland town, it has perhaps some of the most raggedly beautiful natural vistas of any spot in the UK. It also has Bamburgh Castle, which has to be one of the best-preserved castles anywhere in the UK, making it a great spot to visit for any visiting tourists too. There are some great hotels in Bamburgh you can stay at while you visit, including a great inn, and a lot of places to get fish and chips and so on too. It’s a wonderful spot and somewhere you should tick off your list sooner rather than later.

Hunstanton

Down to Norfolk now, and to the town of Hunstanton, a place that is certainly on the map and yet somewhat under-represented in the national mind. But if you are after some truly amazing sunsets and ragged cliffs, then there is really hardly anywhere better than this lovely town. The people are enormously friendly and you can find yourself easily spending a week here going for walks and exploring, so you should make sure to get to Hunstanton at some point soon.

Those are simply some of the best UK seaside towns to visit this year. Be sure to check at least one of them out.
