Riviera Travel has launched its 2028 Worldwide Collection earlier than ever, introducing brand-new itineraries to Patagonia, Indonesia and French Canada & Niagara Falls.
The launch comes as new research commissioned by Riviera Travel found that 39 per cent of travellers say experiencing different cultural social norms is one of the main reasons they choose to travel long-haul. The survey of 2,000 UK adults who travel abroad also found that 44 per cent would feel more confident visiting a culturally unfamiliar destination if they received suggested dos and don’ts before departure, while one in four said they enjoy experiencing unfamiliar customs such as in Patagonia and Indonesia as long as they have some guidance.
Riviera Travel said the findings point to an appetite for long-haul holidays that offer genuine cultural discovery, supported by expert planning and guidance that helps travellers feel prepared while still experiencing somewhere completely different.
Patagonia: Argentina, Chile & the End of the World
Leading the collection is Patagonia, one of the world’s most remote and dramatic regions. Riviera Travel’s new 16-day Signature tour combines the vibrant cities of Buenos Aires and Santiago with some of South America’s most spectacular landscapes, including the Perito Moreno, Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers, Torres del Paine National Park and Tierra del Fuego.
