Thursday, March 27th – Riedel Wine Experience
Fascinating and sensory wine experiences, exploring the relationship between the shape of the wine glass, its shape and design, and how this affects the impact and enjoyment of the wine, including its flavour notes and texture.

The sensational array of glassware will be showcased by Riedel’s John Hickney. Riedel have perfected the art of designing glasses which amplify the characteristics of each grape varietal. Riedel’s precisely honed state-of-the-art ‘Veloce’ collection of glassware will be the “wine instrument” of the evening, where a wonderful selection of contemporary fine wines will be enjoyed to their optimum level, creatively paired with Head Chef’s delicious four-course spring menu in the hotel’s Garden Room restaurant for an enlightening and memorable taste sensation.

The wines for this event include Jordan, Barrel Fermented Chardonnay, Western Cape, South Africa, 2022 and Domaine Machard de Gramont Chorey-Lès-Beaune le Beaumont, Burgundy, France, 2022.
The cost of this evening is £150 per person, commencing at 6.30pm with a champagne and canapé reception, followed by a four-course meal, paired with the wines showcasing the glassware, and a selection of hot beverages and petit fours to complete the dinner.

Each diner will receive a complimentary collection of four beautiful Riedel glasses to take home, specified for Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Riesling and Oaked Chardonnay (each set RRP £125) .
For those diners wishing to make the most of either event, without the need to consider transport home, the hotel is offering wine event guests a special ‘Bed and Breakfast’ rate of £159 per person.
