THE IVY HARROGATE UNVEIL MARRAKESH-INSPIRED TERRACE AND ELEPHANT GIN COCKTAIL MENU

Known for its outstanding beauty, Harrogate’s picture-perfect surroundings have long drawn sightseers from all over the world. For residents and visitors this year, The Ivy Harrogate has transformed its terrace into a Moroccan oasis, inspired by the beautiful Yves Saint Laurent botanical garden in Marrakech.

Available from Thursday, 3 September for six weeks, The Ivy Harrogate offers guests a taste of Morocco in the heart of Yorkshire with a beautiful installation and limited-edition cocktail menu. Working closely with Yorkshire florist, Helen James, the brasserie’s entrance and terrace have been updated with a colourful display of eye-catching blooms. Guests are also able to relax on the terrace whilst enjoying a delicious cocktail from a specially curated menu, created in collaboration with Elephant Gin.

Cocktails include The Elephant G&T (£9.50), a refreshing classic gin and tonic garnished with an apple fan and served in a balloon glass, and the Effervessing Elephant (£10.25), a delicious combination of ginger juice, apple juice and prosecco. Finally, the Kandual Fizz (£11.95) combines lemon juice and Champagne to create a perfectly celebratory concoction.

Rodney Prosper, General Manager at The Ivy Harrogate says: “We’re delighted with the Yves Saint Laurent inspired terrace and we can’t wait for guests and passers-by to experience our beautiful floral installation created by Helen James. Our bar team have enjoyed crafting our limited-edition cocktails that will be available for a limited time only.”
