Tattu Manchester Reveals New Brunch Concept: The Black Dragon Brunch

Contemporary Chinese restaurant Tattu invites guests to experience its new weekend dining concept, The Black Dragon Brunch.

Launching on Saturday 23rd May across Tattu Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Edinburgh and London, this elevated new experience reimagines Tattu’s signature brunch as a bold, atmosphere-led Saturday ritual. Blending modern Asian cuisine with immersive entertainment, The Black Dragon Brunch delivers a seamless fusion of indulgence and Sophistication.

Hosted every Saturday from 12-4pm, guests are taken on a curated dining journey inspired by Tattu’s distinctive

aesthetic and storytelling. The experience unfolds through a menu served in signature “waves”, beginning with an elegant selection of small plates including Aromatic Duck Spring Rolls with cherry hoisin, Royal Koi Fish Gau and Seven Spiced Seared Tuna with truffle aioli, caviar and citrus ponzu.

The second wave introduces a selection of Tattu favourites, including White Miso Salmon with pickled ginger and cucumber, Wok Fired Angry Bird with roasted chilli, cashews and sesame honey soy, and Kung Po King Prawns with Thai basil. A vegetarian Kung Po Tofu offers a vibrant alternative with pineapple, green beans and lotus root.

For those looking to elevate the experience further, additional dishes are available, including Peking Duck Pancakes and Caramel Soy Aged Beef Fillet with shiitake, ginger and asparagus.

Drinks are central to the experience, with house wines, beers and spirits included. Guests can also upgrade to enjoy Tattu’s signature cocktails, such as the Koko Tattu with coconut, lychee and lime, alongside classic favourites including the Espresso Martini and Aperol Spritz.

A standout finale comes in the form of the Black Dragon Egg dessert – a milk chocolate shell with a coconut, passion fruit and mango centre – available as an indulgent add-on.

Set against Tattu’s iconic interiors, the brunch is soundtracked by resident DJs, with curated music and live moments designed to build energy throughout the afternoon. Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion, with the experience positioned as both a social event and a celebration of the weekend.

The Black Dragon Brunch will take place every Saturday, with pricing starting from £55 per person in Tattu Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh, and £65 in London.
