Limited dates are available for Spring Moorlander Pullman dining service at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

This year, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway is celebrating 45 years of its Pullman services and have recently announced the Spring Moorlander service for visitors to dine in style and enjoy a delicious seasonal three-course meal, cooked and served onboard the Pullman Dining Train.

The return services depart from Grosmont Station at 12:30pm and travel along 18 miles of the heritage line to Pickering and back, with the experience lasting approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes.

Diners can expect a selection of artisan bread and butter at the table and then three-courses pre-booked from the seasonal menu. Starters include spring vegetable soup, goats cheese, pear & walnut tart, or chef’s homemade chicken liver pâté. To finish, passengers can choose from a trio of desserts or a selection of cheese and biscuits, followed by tea or coffee and handmade specialty chocolates.

Kathryn Watson, Catering Manager at the NYMR, said, “When it comes to choosing Pullman menus, we like to keep them fresh using quality, local, seasonal products where possible, we have a lot of repeat guests so we currently offer spring, summer and autumn menus, afternoon tea and some special menus – this year we are celebrating Yorkshire Day & the 45th anniversary of the Pullman Dining train too.”
