An unforgettable evening of fine food and exceptional whisky as Michelin-starred Heft partners with Speyside distillery The Glenrothes for an exclusive dining experience.
Join the team at Heft in Newton-in-Cartmel on Thursday, 24th April at 7pm for a unique evening featuring whisky and specially crafted dishes. Chef Kevin Tickle and his team will present a multi-course tasting menu paired with carefully selected single malts from Glenrothes Distillery, including rare and limited-edition releases.

On the night, a Glenrothes ambassador will guide diners through the whisky pairings, sharing the stories and craftsmanship behind each dram. Expect bold flavours, warm hospitality, and the distinctive character that both Heft and The Glenrothes are renowned for.
The Glenrothes was founded in 1878 by entrepreneurs James Stuart, Robert Dick, William Grant, and John Cruikshank at the burn of Rothes in Speyside, with the ambition to create “the world’s most elegant whisky.”
Since then, The Glenrothes has embodied this vision, distilling a spirit of unparalleled elegance that matures in a uniquely distinctive way.
Patience is a hallmark of The Glenrothes distillation process. Their exceptionally pure water, the most essential ingredient in whisky, is naturally filtered through volcanic bedrock and sourced directly from the Glenrothes Estate.
The distillation process operates at a flow rate about half the speed of other well-known distilleries. With unusually tall stills, this method optimises copper contact to remove heavy flavour compounds, resulting in a bright, fruity, and nuanced spirit with refined complexity.
Using sherry-seasoned oak casks made to The Glenrothes’ specifications and managing ageing with precision ensures both spirit and cask contribute to truly exceptional spirits.

To maintain the founders’ vision and ensure exceptional quality, only 3% of the distillery’s capacity is bottled. Since 1994, Glenrothes Distillery has released fewer than one single cask per year.
Discover the world of The Glenrothes for yourself and savour this unique evening of fine dining and exceptional whisky. Places are limited, and tickets are priced at £195 per person, which includes all courses and whisky pairings.
