Introducing Pimentae Drinks, the brand behind bar quality, premium tequila cocktails with a modern-day twist.
Following the launch of their first drink in lockdown 2021, the Tommy’s Margarita, Pimentae launched its second drink – the Cucumber & Elderflower Eclipse – in March 2022. Created by Alice Parmiter and Wynter Karo, friends who shared a love, hate and ‘why did we do that?’ relationship with Tequila for years, the women decided to wave goodbye to the traditional ‘split second embrace’ they once treasured and set out on a quest to showcase the true magic that Tequila has to offer. Pimentae was born, bringing exclusive cocktails typically enjoyed in the setting of a member’s club to anyone’s home at the click of a finger.
After travelling to Mexico, home of the agave plant, now Pimentae’s humbled roots, Alice and Wynter were inspired. Mexico revealed the perfect balance between beauty and nature, opening their eyes to bewitching landscapes, unmatched culture, tantalising cuisine and art that had to be shared with the world. They needed to bottle that magic and redefine the way we drink tequila. The Pimentae brand was born, with bottles which are designed to encourage upcycling, and drinks boasting Mexico’s freshest flavours – unique blends of El Tequileno with nature’s finest ingredients.
To celebrate National Tequila Day on the 24th July, the brand put together a picnic themed giveaway, giving someone the chance to win 1 mixed case of Pimentae cocktails, 2 x @partnerinwineuk tumblers to keep your cocktails cool on the go, a bottle of @patron tequila, a tequila dictionary and avoucher for a ‘picquey bits’ platter for 2 from @piquefood.
They also offered 20% off all cocktails across the weekend and hosted a day party at Sam Brooks Brewery in Wandsworth (Ram Quarter) which was packed full of happy revellers. They had a DJ playing tequila – friendly tunes and offered their bottles either by the glass or in a full-size bottle.
Their next in person event is to be held at brand the famous Covent Garden (piazza) with their branded van from August 12-18th.
