Beloved bar and kitchen Banyan located in Leeds City Centre and Harrogate, has launched an exciting new sharing menu, designed to encourage communal dining and bring friends, family, and colleagues closer together over a variety of delicious dishes and drinks.
We were invited down to the Leeds restaurant to celebrate their global cuisine sharing menu. The sharing plates at Banyan Leeds menu features a mix of British classics and popular international dishes, ensuring there is something to satisfy every palate. Similarly, the new drinks menu is infused with global influences, offering everything from Caribbean rum punches to South American tequila margaritas. Moreover, every guest can find a drink to enjoy to their preferred taste.

Highlights of the revamped food menu include standout sharing dishes perfect for two, or more for larger groups with the 20oz British grass-fed bone Signature Sharing Steak – a luxurious feast perfect for any steak lover. Crafted to impress, another option is the Pan-Asian Chicken Trio – a tantalising journey through Asia’s most delicious chicken dishes. Perfect for a night out with friends or date night and the crowd-pleasing Tacos Your Way – a tasty dish that you can build yourself.
Sharing Plates At Banyan Leeds

Our table of four opted to try the Pan-Asian Chicken Trio (£29.95), and the Tacos Your Way (£29.95), along with a couple of portions of House Fries (£4.50 each) on the side to share. Firstly, the Pan-Asian Chicken Trio included Bang Bang Chicken, Sticky Karaage Chicken, and Thai Marinated Chicken Breast. These came served with Egg Fried Rice, and Salt & Pepper Prawn Crackers. Honestly, each dish was outstanding in its own right, and the rice was so tasty it was outstandingly good. Moreover, the prawn crackers deserve their own mention, the salt & pepper flavour was divine. Between the four of us we devoured the lot!
Secondly, the Tacos Your Way were excellent, especially the ‘make your own guacamole’ element of the dish. Served with ten warm tacos. The plate included, 6oz Flat Iron Steak, Cajun Chicken, Pickled Shallots & Red Cabbage, Jalepeños, Gem Lettuce, Sour Cream, Jalepeño Jam, Chipotle Mayo, and Salsa Verde. Again, another fantastic dish full of flavour and plenty of fun too!
Thirdly, the team were on fine form in making sure our every need was catered for. They couldn’t have done any more to look after our table.
We each had a couple of drinks including; Strawberry Fizz (£8.95), Clean Cranberry Martini (£6.75), and Cucumber & Apple Crush (£4.95).

Furthermore, if you like a great atmosphere, enjoy excellent food with friends, and love trying new things then you should visit Banyan.
