Delicious Hampers stuffed full of Incredible Artisan Produce

It’s long been an official fact that Team H&N are ‘foodies’! Never are we happier than when we are appreciating great food, especially when produced by artisans and more so when it’s delivered straight to our door.

You might think this is a lot to ask for and possibly hard to come by, but you would be wrong!

A business called Dine in The Lakes does exactly that and what a find they are.

Dine in The Lakes was born against a backdrop of the Lake District fells on a quiet, particularly rainy afternoon in the winter of 2020. Founded by Imy, Dine in The Lakes set about celebrating artisans, farmers and independent businesses in the hope of highlighting their importance in leading a healthy, environmentally conscious, community focused lifestyle.

She was joined by her husband Matt, (they were originally a builder and interior design duo) and now they were able to put their practical and creative skills to good use by developing a business that represented some of the finest artisans, farmers and producers across the Lake District, all the while satisfying their own total love of food.

When invited to try one of their hampers, we chose The Grand Charcuterie box, which contained the most delicious charcuterie feast to feed four people. There were only two of us, so we invited some friends with healthy appetites and unbelievably there was food to spare! Which made a perfect lunch the following day.

The hamper came beautifully presented and we opened it as eager as children on Christmas morning! Our excitement to see what was inside was electric! We were not to be disappointed.

Inside this foodie parcel, every item was individually gift wrapped in sustainable, temperature-controlled packaging with a posy of dried flowers – a lovely finishing touch. We unwrapped each item to find a huge freshly baked Five Grain Bloomer by Lovingly Artisan, A feast of pure, unadulterated smoked Charcuteriea from Stonehouse Smokery. Cheeses of Goashee by St James and Love Ewe Brie and Love Ewe Cheddar by Love Ewe Dairy, Blue Whinnow by Thornby Moor Dairy. It didn’t stop there!

There was Damson Chutney by Hawkshead Relish, Oven Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, Sweet Basil Olives and the most delicious Cannoli Gianduja, all from Silver & Green.

We enjoyed our feast with a couple of bottles of red, good friends and we all agreed that this is the perfect way to entertain. Dine in the Lakes hampers are also the ideal solution to picnics, easy grazing weekends and intimate date nights at home. They also make amazing gifts.

The quality of the ingredients was first class! The collaboration with artisans gave us the opportunity to enjoy so many different foods and flavours from across the Lake District.

We simply can not fault Dine in the Lakes. From ordering to the presentation and of course the quality of the food.
