When was the last time you went to an ice cream parlour where you could choose from an insane amount of desserts?
Words by Rachel McAlley
We went to Creams in Scarborough on the North Bay and chose from one of the biggest dessert menus we have ever seen. Waffles, crepes, sundaes, doughnuts, cheesecakes, shakes, hot cookie dough, cake, puddings, smoothies, slushies; you name it Creams served it.
Faced with so much choice we decided to break it down and try a waffle, a sundae, and a cheesecake.

Waffle
Sundae

The biggest waffle you have ever seen arrived; the Strawberry Choc Indulgence Waffle was topped with fresh strawberries, milk chocolate sauce, chocolate shavings and a dish of Creams soft vanilla ice cream on the side. Simply put it was immense and could definitely have fed two people comfortably.
The O-Re-O Overload Sundae was the chosen one for the 10 year old in our party, and she wasn’t disappointed. Jam-packed with O-Re-O gelato, Creams soft vanilla ice cream, crushed and whole Oreo Cookies, milk chocolate sauce and topped with a Creams wafer it was a sundae and a half!
Cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory was always going to be a winner, *and as a side note if you haven’t been to the US and enjoyed a vast portion of The Cheesecake Factory cheesecake yet, this is your chance, in Scarborough!
The Cheesecake Factory choice for us was the Wild Strawberries & Cream Cheesecake served with fresh cream and Creams soft vanilla ice cream. Honestly, this was a tasty slice of heaven it was absolutely delicious.

Creams Café is a seriously cool surfer and skateboarder kind of place. Graffiti-style artwork adorn the walls, skateboards line the ceiling, dark corners and neon tables to relax at. This is 100% the place to hang out with mates.
Would we go again, you’re damn right we would!
