A hot towel treatment presents an array of benefits to men who shave, including reduced irritation, opening pores, releasing dead skin, exfoliation and not to mention it feels great.

The treatment involves the wrapping of a hot steamed towel over the face, the towel is dipped in various scents including olbas and sandalwood. Once rested, your pores are open, your skin is soft and free from irritation- this makes the strokes of the cut-throat blade smooth and precise.
A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE:
- Pre shave oil + Hot lather (massaged into the skin while feeling for hair growth patterns)
- Hot towel pressed gently on to the face
- Exfoliating face scrub (worked into skin)
- Hot towel repeated
- Apply shave cream with a badger brush (shave brush)
- Clean shave
- Cold towel
- Aftershave + Moisturise
A full haircut and hot towel shave service has a running time of one hour and fifteen minutes, it’s carefree and unrushed. One of ARKADE’S expert barbers and renowned masters of a cut-throat, Jamie Burford believes the service requires skill and an understanding of the clients’ skin.
