We are excited to announce the expansion of Carl Friedrik’s best-selling Heritage bags collection with new grained leather styles.
Launching on the 19th of August, the collection includes the Carl Friedrik sleek, office-and-travel-focused Palissy Briefcase, Palissy Double, and Palissy Weekend.
These hero styles, all of which have a minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic, will be available in three new grained leather colourways, Dark Olive, Taupe and Mustard Yellow, subtly expanding the Heritage’s classic colour palette. Carl Friedrik’s decision to release the grained Heritage line comes in response to growing customer demand for new bag styles.
Carl Friedrik’s Heritage collection is sleek, luxurious, and crafted from quality materials. The Palissy Briefcase is a master organiser with design features that cater to every need. The Palissy Double offers ample space with two zipped compartments and multiple pockets to keep your essentials organised. Meanwhile, the Palissy Weekend combines elegance and functionality, perfect for weekend getaways.

It felt natural for us to revisit the Heritage range and inject fresh design impetus with the elegant grained leather we eventually landed on.”
The leather itself is sourced from Hoffmans, a world-leading German tannery founded in 1899. Hoffmans exclusively works with high-welfare Northern European hides and prides itself on its strong sustainability credentials, holding Leather Working Group Gold, Sedex, and Eco2L certifications.
Grained leather Heritage bags will be available to order online at carlfriedrik.com and in the brand’s London store from August 19th, with prices starting at £595.
