To coincide with the launch of Creams Café’s new Dubai Choc Shake and Sundae range, Creams has also announced the formation of a brand new “Creams Palate Panel”, following outrage over other brands’ attempts at the viral dessert.
As the Dubai choc mania continues to sweep the nation, amassing millions of views on social media, thousands of shoppers have voiced their frustration with brands such as Lindt, M&S and Aldi, who have tried to capture the quality of the dessert. With Lindt’s attempt being described by some as “daylight robbery”* and Aldi’s ice cream version “tasting like cardboard”** the UK has been calling out for a Dubai dessert that can actually deliver.

Creams Café is answering the call with two delicious new additions: the Dubai Choc shake and Dubai choc sundae. Creams took the time to perfect the flavour rather than rush. Furthermore, it comes with an invitation to members of the public to join the new Creams Palate Panel. The Palate Panel is a dessert-dedicated dream team of genuine sweet-toothed connoisseurs.
Creams Cafe CEO, Everett Fieldgate, commented:
“Creating a Dubai Choc dessert that lives up to the quality of the original is not an easy task, as several other brands have demonstrated. But at Creams, we’ve taken time to actually deliver two truly indulgent Dubai choc creations that will meet our customers’ high standards. And now, with our new Creams Palate Panel, we can continue to ensure all our future products are of the very highest quality, so that the UK doesn’t have to be disappointed by half-baked attempts any longer.”
