Roseate House is an Elegant 5 Star Sanctuary in London

Hidden amongst the tree lined streets of West London sits a beacon of refined luxury in the shape of townhouse hotel, Roseate House. After my stay at the Roseate Reading, I had no reservations checking into Roseate House to see if what they had to offer matched that of their sister hotel!

This sophisticated hotel is within walking distance to some of London’s most iconic attractions such as Oxford Street, Kensington Palace and Hyde Park making it a firm choice for travellers seeking the ultimate city experience. Or if a Londoner like me, a staycation which ticks all the boxes.

Walking into this gorgeous stucco fronted property you enter straight into the hub of reception with daylight pouring in and you are checked in quickly and efficiently.

All suites and rooms are decorated in a traditional style blended seamlessly with some modern elements which also run throughout the hotel’s interiors. Opening the door to my suite I was in luck as it featured a four-poster bed (which I had to literally climb into it was so high!) as well as a sun-soaked terrace accessed by floor to ceiling windows. It was the ideal place for breakfast in the sun during my visit.

With any hotel stay, it’s only right you check out the food and with more and more hotels becoming renowned for their cuisine, I was excited to dine at The Hyde Restaurant.

The Hyde is based on the ground floor and offers diners fresh, culinary masterpieces or if in the mood for something more British during your visit, you can book in for Afternoon Tea. This luxurious feeling restaurant has walls covered with portraits and a fully equipped bar including good old pink champagne which seems to be my only tipple of choice now.

The A La Carte menu is polished and I absolutely loved the aromatic spicy rack of Lamb – a good twist on a classic. The desserts also featured a cheese plate (one of the biggest I’ve seen with two helpings of four different cheeses with plenty of crackers).  I finished what I didn’t eat in the comfort of my suite in my pjs, in bed with the TV on. For me that’s the embodiment of living my best life!

In a prime position, Roseate House is an elegant sanctuary in one of the UK’s busiest cities which lives up to both my expectations and its 5-star rating!
