Chatsworth House, one of Britain’s most loved historic houses and family seat of The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, is inviting guests to experience a new two-night bespoke retreat of unparalleled luxury, immersed in this world-famous Derbyshire Estate, and staying at the four red star Cavendish Hotel in Baslow.
Each stay features a full day visit to Chatsworth House, individually tailored to the guests’ interests and needs, and led by a dedicated Chatsworth Ambassador, ensuring that the tour of the house and garden is both rewarding and effortless. This cultural experience is complemented by the best hospitality on offer at The Cavendish, including luxurious accommodation, enjoying open views across the estate, and personalised fine dining experiences at the three AA rosette ‘Gallery’ restaurant.
On one evening guests will delight in the ‘Kitchen Table’, a theatre-style interactive experience with the Chef and his team, to witness the exhilaration of the live kitchen in action whilst dishes are created; another evening, the hotel’s Signature tasting menu is enhanced with wine tasting before dinner with the hotel’s Sommelier, and the opportunity to meet with Head Chef, Adam Harper.
On the day of the Chatsworth tour, guests will be looked after with extra special care and attention; from their own dedicated parking space and refreshments upon arrival, to their personalised itinerary for the day under the expert guidance of their own Chatsworth Ambassador, who will optimise the guests’ tour of the house and garden. The cultural tour will be enhanced by dining and refreshments along the way, including a choice of a light lunch or afternoon tea.
Those wishing to explore more of the grounds and garden will have the use of a golf buggy with driver to make their experience more enjoyable. A copy of the book ‘Chatsworth, Arcadia, Now: Seven Scenes from the Life of a House’, signed by The Duke of Devonshire, will be a souvenir of this special, ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.
