Drawing on this knowledge and insight, Helly Hansen launches a series of new footwear styles for the Winter 2021 season, designed to offer maximum comfort and protection both outdoors and in the city.
Designed to complement the brand’s Verglas outdoor collection, the Cascade HT (SRP £140) is a lightweight, yet stable and well-cushioned performance hiker. It is fully waterproof, featuring a HELLY TECH® waterproof/breathable membrane, and is constructed with a lightweight Swift Frame stabiliser and a protective HH® Pro Guard toe and heel cap.
The boot also features an HH® Max-Comfort insole and HH® Power-Stride midsole, which provide optimal cushioning and comfort for long days on the mountain. The outsole features a multi-directional traction system, HH® Surround-Grip, alongside the brand’s proven HH® Max-Grip rubber compound, ensuring stability and traction on even the most challenging terrain in harsh conditions. The Cascade HT is available in both men’s and women’s specific designs and in both low-cut and mid-cut styles.
Built for transitioning to and from the mountain and designed to complement the brand’s ULLR freeride collection, the Canyon ULLR Boot HT (SRP £130) is lightweight, protective, comfortable and fully waterproof featuring a HELLY TECH® waterproof/breathable membrane. For extra comfort and traction, the boot features an EVA insole and HH® Max-Grip outsole making it an ideal choice after a long day on the slopes.
Rounding off the new Winter footwear collection, the Lumineer Viz-Lite (SRP £100) provides safety, comfort and protection for those who live in and around the city. An optimal choice, specifically in the fall and winter months as sunlight begins to dwindle, this sneaker uses VizLite® Dual Technology for max visibility in darker environments. Featuring phosphorescent tape, which contains microscopic glass beads that act as light reflectors, and photo luminescent crystals, which absorb UV energy that is then emitted as a light source in low or zero light conditions, the Lumineer Viz-Lite offers increased protection and safety for those who commute and live in the city. Additionally, by absorbing UV energy in natural light, the phosphorescent tape is durable and long-lasting, enabling the wearer to rely on their trainers for many seasons to come.
Available in both men’s and women’s specific styles, the Lumineer Viz-Lite is also well-cushioned, featuring an HH® Max-Comfort insole, and offers great traction with the HH® Surround-Grip and HH® Max-Grip outsole.
