Family-run holiday parks, Wenningdale Escapes and Riverside Caravan Park, have announced they will host their annual open weekend on 12-14th September 2026.
The open weekend will showcase a selection of caravan holiday parks and homes available at Riverside Caravan Park, as well as the lodges and pitches available at Wenningdale Escapes, nestled among the fairways of Bentham Golf Course.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore both locations, view a range of holiday homes, lodges and seasonal touring pitches, and chat with the team about the different ownership and holiday options available. Guided tours will give guests the chance to experience life at the family-run parks first-hand, ideally located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the Forest of Bowland, and the Lake District.
Those looking to extend their visit can make a weekend of it with 20% off stays in Wenningdale Escapes’ glamping pods and lodges, as well as Riverside’s holiday cottages and touring pitches. Those considering a seasonal pitch can also take advantage of the offer of paying the next year’s deposit and getting Oct-Dec for this year included.
For golfers, Bentham Golf Course will be offering a special £25 golf package on Saturday/Monday (all day) and Sunday afternoon, including a bacon sandwich, with spot prizes available throughout the weekend. Visitors can also enjoy live music in the clubhouse on Saturday.
