Fenella Ratcliffe-Hobson – Director

Fenella Ratcliffe-Hobson is a founding figure behind Yorkshire Spa Retreat, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the UK holiday park and leisure industry. From the very beginning of the project, she played a key role in shaping the vision and delivery of the retreat, helping to establish it as a distinctive, high-quality destination focused on wellness, luxury, and guest experience.
Prior to her work with Yorkshire Spa Retreat, Fenella built extensive expertise working closely with Miles Dewhurst across his previous business, which owned and operated a portfolio of 12 holiday parks throughout the UK. During this time, she was involved in the growth and operational success of the company while Miles held leadership roles first as Managing Director and later as Chief Executive Officer. This close professional partnership provided Fenella with deep insight into park development, operational management, and customer experience at scale.
Combining her industry knowledge with a strong eye for detail and commitment to quality, Fenella has been instrumental in translating strategic vision into reality. Her experience spans site development, guest services, and the creation of environments that balance commercial success with exceptional visitor appeal.
At Yorkshire Spa Retreat, Fenella continues to apply this expertise, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the business and ensuring it remains a standout destination within the UK leisure and wellness market.
Annalise Harper – Guest Experience Manager

Annalise Harper is the Guest Experience Manager at Yorkshire Spa Retreat, bringing a strong background in luxury hospitality and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. With several years’ experience at the Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa in Helmsley, she has developed a reputation for operational excellence and creating memorable, high-quality experiences for guests.
Starting her career in hospitality at a young age, Annalise quickly progressed into leadership roles, most recently as Spa Reception Manager. Known for her warm, approachable manner and attention to detail, she is dedicated to creating a welcoming and relaxing environment, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable visit.

Kas Wilson – Spa, Gym and Studio Manager
Kas is the Spa, Gym and Studio Manager at Yorkshire Spa Retreat, with over a decade of experience in the spa and wellness industry. Since qualifying as a Beauty Therapist in 2013, she has progressed steadily through the ranks at the Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa in Helmsley, moving from Therapist to Senior Therapist, and then into a leadership role as Assistant Spa Manager.
With extensive experience managing teams, driving revenue growth and maintaining exceptional service standards, Kas has a proven track record in delivering high-performing spa operations. Known for her strong leadership and calm approach in demanding environments, she is passionate about creating a positive team culture and ensuring every guest enjoys a relaxing, high-quality experience.
Eve Cullen – Food and Beverage Manager

Eve is the Food and Beverage Manager at Yorkshire Spa Retreat, where she brings substantial experience in luxury hospitality and a natural flair for creating exceptional dining experiences. With a strong focus on guest satisfaction and team leadership, she oversees the day-to-day running of The Dome restaurant, ensuring every detail, from service to atmosphere, is carefully considered.
Known for her calm, confident approach and eye for quality, Eve plays a key role in shaping the warm, welcoming environment the retreat is known for. Her career spans over 15 years at one of North Yorkshire’s most celebrated Michelin-starred restaurants, The Star Inn at Harome, where she honed her skills in high-end service, team development and operational excellence. With a passion for wine and industry qualifications, she is always on hand to recommend the best pairings with The Dome’s array of dishes.
