Looking Beyond 2024
Carriacou set to welcome Grenada’s second Underwater Sculpture Park *Coming Soon*
In collaboration with renowned sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor, Grenada is set to extend its artistic allure beneath the waves. The agreement paves the way for an addition to the sister isles of Carriacou and Petite Martinique– a second Underwater Sculpture Park located in the crystal-clear waters of Carriacou.
This initiative seamlessly fuses art with environmental stewardship, confronting the urgent challenges of global warming and the far-reaching impacts of climate change on Grenada’s marine ecosystems and coastal communities. Building upon the success of the world’s first sculpture park on mainland Grenada, this new endeavour in Carriacou aspires to be a paragon of eco-conscious tourism, leaving an indelible mark on both locals and visitors.
