There’s No Compromise at Boringdon Hall

This is the first luxury spa hotel I have been to where they quite literally tick every box. The Grade 1 listed 16th century Manor House has all of the old world charm that you might be looking for yet it has seamlessly added modern spa, wellness suites and rooms behind it.

From the Boringdon Hall bee hives, supported by the wild flower meadow planted around the rooms, to the oak leaves being nurtured into trees to be replanted again, the renovation has been a sustainable, sympathetic success to its surroundings.

The oak leaf theme runs consistently through the Acleaf Michelin Star on site restaurant which resides in the Minstrel Gallery in Boringdon Hall. The attention to detail from Scott Paton and his talented team is exceptional. The gastronomic experience kicked off with an array of tasters which arrived like a fanfare and we proceeded to be served course after course of culinary excellence.

The food in the Mayflower Brasserie is not to be dismissed either, I gave my meal here a solid 9/10.

The spa is world class and there are so many steam rooms and saunas you could get lost. Hot tubs are also dotted around the premises so despite it being popular you can find space to relax and unwind. It is a generous experience. Big thick beds in the spa, fluffy robes and full size Gaia products to use. Nothing here is too much trouble.

There is a full beauty spa with hair dressers and nail bar on site. Our massage treatments were expertly executed and with all the extra touches of foot rituals before, smoothie shots to awaken you afterwards, inhalations and heated beds. After two hour long massages by the amazing Jasmin, I transcended to a new level of zest.

The Gaia Wellness rooms where we stayed are modern with a warm, cream aesthetic. The huge bath in the room added an element of excitement and luxury. The Gaia products are free to use throughout your stay and are absolutely beautiful, even made from locally sourced ingredients.

As a resident you can download the Boringdon App and join a range of exercise classes including Pilates and barre or pop down to the state-of-the-art gym complete with a fridge for cold towels.

You do not have to compromise at Boringdon Hall…because it has it all!

I highly recommend a stay here and have a 10% discount code to offer EMMIEBOR10. Make sure you use it!
