Guests will take a tour of the Isle of Wight’s scenic charms, and with half of the island designated an official ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ there are plenty to soak up! And what better way to experience it than on the historic Isle of Wight Steam Railway?
After arriving via a catamaran, guests will check in to their home for the next four nights in the delightful Victorian seaside resort of Sandown. They will get the chance to holiday like royalty, visiting Osbourne House, Queen Victoria’s family holiday home designed by her husband, Prince Albert, to mirror a sun-drenched Italian palazzo.

Lakes and Dales by Steam – 5 days from £479 per person***
This tour allows guests to discover the rugged vistas of Northern England, staying in fantastic 4 star accommodation and travelling on heritage railways with a dedicated Tour Manager to guide passengers through from start to finish.
Staying in the pleasant village of Wetheral, passengers will travel via steam train to the southern shore of Windermere, a UNESCO area of outstanding natural beauty, where they will have the opportunity to explore the hometowns of the Lake District’s most renowned inhabitants, Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth.
Other highlights include a spectacular journey on the Settle to Carlisle Line to Skipton, cutting through hills, mountains and valleys, over marshland and rivers. Railways of Wales – 6 days from £499 per person***
On this spring tour, guests will uncover the tranquil beauty of Wales, beholding its rugged mountains, picturesque towns and journeying on the scenic Welsh Highland and Llangollen Steam Railways.
After checking into the coastal town of Llandudno, the first excursion is on the Ffestiniog Railway, a narrow-gauge heritage railway in Snowdonia National Park. Guests will then travel to Portmeirion, famous for its colourful, Italianate architecture that wouldn’t look out of place on the sun-soaked Amalfi coast.
Travellers will also have the opportunity to ride on the Llangollen Steam Railway for a journey through some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK along the banks of the pretty River Dee. There is also the unique chance to ride a horse-drawn boat along the Llangollen Canal, experiencing how heavy goods were transported through this peaceful environment well into the 1960s.

On this tour, guests will delve into the best of England’s West Country, taking in a delightful tapestry of scenic railways, idyllic harbour towns and sprawling National Parks.
After checking into the charming hotel in Barnstaple, North Devon’s largest town, guests travel to Exeter for a journey on the scenic Dartmoor Line, which dates back to the 1800s. The vast heather moorland known as Dartmoor National Park is the rugged heart of Devon, and there are views of Two Bridges, a local beauty spot that was historically the point where two separate bridges crossed the West Dart and River Cowsic.
The next journey is on the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway, in a Victorian carriage with a backdrop of wild moorland and picturesque coastline. Guests will have the chance to explore RHS Garden Rosemoor and its kaleidoscopic displays, including an elegant rose garden with around 2,000 rose plants.
The final trip for spring is on the West Somerset Steam Railway, a journey that winds through spectacular countryside on the longest heritage line in the UK.
