If you are just starting out on your journey filling your house or apartment with sustainable homewares, or if you’ve been doing it for years, then this new ReBorn® set is for you.
Dedicated to creating planet-friendly homewares, ReBorn® is actively challenging the way traditional makers operate. ReBorn® believe in local production, using recycled materials such as plastic film, resulting in a low carbon footprint and reduced landfill, all whilst supporting the local economy.
All products are circular by design, so everything is repairable, replaceable and recyclable at the end of its life.
The ReBorn® Washing Up Bowl

Suitable for most UK sinks, the ReBorn® washing up bowl has a generous 9 litre capacity. It has large carry handles for easy lifting, and legs to elevate the bowl for clean draining. It has an integrated plug for quick draining. The plug can also be set to strain water with food particles etc. Thanks to a handy pour spout, the water can be easily decanted to other vessels or used to water plants. All components can be taken apart for easy cleaning.
Designed and made in the UK, this new sage green colour from ReBorn® is made in Wiltshire, from 100% waste plastic and recycled materials.
Sink Tidy by ReBorn®

The ReBorn® sink tidy helps organisation of the sink area, with universal storage for brushes, bottles and cloths. The main compartment divides into two parts – large enough for a detergent bottle, brush and sponge. The integrated rail is perfect for hanging damp dishcloths. It has a ribbed, sloping base ensuring excess water or soap suds are collected out of sight, for draining later. The components can be taken apart for easy cleaning. Lastly, the non-slip base helps protect surfaces from scratches. Again, this sink tidy is designed and made in the UK, from fully recycled materials.
ReBorn® products are recyclable everywhere in the UK, unlike most housewares which are made from mixed materials, resulting in 70 million items ending up in landfill annually here in the UK.
Final Note
Our writer, Rachel McAlley has been reviewing both household items for a couple of weeks. Here are her findings so far:
“In summary, the ReBorn® Washing Up Bowl and the ReBorn® Sink Tidy not only support sustainability around the home by utilising recycled plastics, but they are super stylish, extremely robust, and are vitally useful.
I have found the washing up bowl to be the perfect size for all my dishes. Plus, as I don’t currently have a dishwasher (I’m the main dishwasher in our house), the bowl fits everything from pots and pans to crockery and cutlery.
Equally, I have been trialling the sink tidy and have found it very easy to clean, especially with the removable base, which makes it simple to take apart. Furthermore, it stores everything from my washing up brush, dish cloth, and scouring pad, to the washing up liquid and washing up gloves. It is the ideal partner to the washing up bowl.
All-in-all, my family is very happy with both household kitchen items, and I can’t see us ever using another brand in the future.”
Current colourways include, Sage Green, Dark Grey, Stone, Avon Blue, and Charcoal Grey with Sage Green. The washing up bowl is priced at £34.99, and the sink tidy is priced at £19.99. Both available to purchase from ReBorn and via the John Lewis website.
