A Day of Indulgence with Selfridges Experience Concierge! There are eight different Experiences to choose from at Selfridges Manchester Exchange square, all are very different from each other. We’re here to tell you about all eight, however we’ll go into more detail about one specific Experience Concierge as we enjoyed it first hand.
1. The Glow Up, £70
You will receive a one-to-one beauty makeover by one of the stores leading beauty team members. This is then followed by a luxurious hair styling appointment for 60-minutes with a stylist within the GHD team.
2. The Skincare Guru Experience, £80
A one-to-one skincare appointment with a Beauty Concierge, where they will work out the best routine and which products are suitable for their skin type. Followed by a tasty treat of Champagne and macarons at san Carlo Gran Café in-store.
3. The Olafactory Experience, £85
This is the most beautiful fragrance experience in-store. You will get a one-to-one consultation with the store’s Beauty Concierge who will then find the perfect scent. They will focus on the customer’s favourite fragrance notes by exploring a collection of luxury perfumes and aftershaves. They day will finish with Champagne Afternoon Tea at San Carlo Gran Café.
4. The La Mer Facial Experience, £150 or £300
You can either choose a 6-month or 12-month La Mer Facial subscription. You will choose from a line-up of facial options every 8 weeks from hydrating and refreshing to calming and soothing. Plus you’ll enjoy an indulgent 45-minute treatment.
5. The Blink Brow Bar Threading Subscription, £260
This is a full 12-month threading subscription at Blink Brow Bar. The guest can nip onto the store and experience a 15-minute eyebrow threading appointment once a month for 12-months.
6. The Sneaker Doc Subscription, £210
An unusual gift, perhaps for the person that has everything! This is ideal for those who love to keep their sneakers box-fresh all the time. In essence this is a 6-month trainer cleaning subscription with the in-house experts at Sneaker Doc. Simply drop off your well-loved and well-worn trainers for a details clean and refresh every month.
7. The Ultimate Selfridges Manchester Exchange Square Experience, £245
This is a full on exciting experience. Included in the Ultimate Selfridges Experience is a personal shopping session in the store’s private shopping area. Also included is a skincare or make-up appointment with one of the Beauty Concierge team in-house. More elements include a relaxing hand and arm massage at Jo Malone London and a one-to-one fragrance consultation with the fragrance team. The day will end with lunch and a glass of Champagne or cocktail/mockail at San Carlo Bottega Restaurant.
8. The San Carlo Bottega Tasting Experience, £40
We’ve left this to talk about last, as it’s the Experience Concierge that we enjoyed at H&N Magazine.
The booking was made and an email confirmation arrived with all the relevant details like arrival time, and what the tasting experience included. We weren’t disappointed, that’s for use.
Once shown to our table, which overlooked Exchange Square we were told what we could expect from our experience. Three cocktails or mocktails each, and a sharing board each.
The cocktails included a Negroni, a Gin Martini, and a Tiramisu Martini, and the mocktails included a passionfruit martini, a coconut punch, and a delicious strawberry lemonade.
The sharing boards were stacked with Mortadella, Italian ham, Parma ham, mini salad and two types of goat cheese, one with pistachio and the other black pepper.
All in all this was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon, enjoying the atmosphere and diving into the drinks and sharing platter.
