The Resort Where Kids are Treated so Well, They Don’t Make a Noise!!!

What can Switzerland’s best wellness hotel offer children? Surely, 5-star spas are for adults-only. I was baffled to say the least, how on earth was this pet and child friendly hotel so calm and serene.

Well, they say the devil is in detail and details are what the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz does very well.  It turns out the children have their very own spa, and this is no side pool situation. They have an entire spa with two pools, water slide, pretend sauna playhouse and they even have child size robes.

Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is prioritising wellness for all ages. Beauty and hair treatments are available for children and teenagers as well as full access to the Tamina Therme Spa for the whole family.  Equally there plenty of adult only spaces designed for the ultimate relaxation.

If your children are too young to spa on their own and you fancy some down time, don’t worry the kids club Kinda Villa is there to keep them entertained. They can even have a supervised lunch with their new pals at the Olives d’Or Restaurant which comes complete with a child sized buffet counter.

If you don’t want to eat separately, each of the Michelin Star restaurants, of which there are three, serve kids menus alongside the adults fare and pets are allowed in too, making it the ultimate family night out.

Whilst in the Swiss Alps the urge to explore the Buendner Herrschaf region which surrounds the resort is likely to hit. The region is known for its most famous resident, Heidi and all hotel guests are given a Heidiland entry pass upon arrival. This mock village nestled in the mountains depicts what life would have been like for Heidi and boasts exquisite views down the valley.

The hotel would be perfect for that three generational holiday. The spas here go beyond beauty treatments and include a rehabilitation centre, aesthetics clinic, dentist and scientific and holistic approaches to gut health and wellness. There is something for everyone from the classic thermal spa experience to an entire lifestyle overhaul.

As a child free, ardent adult only spa goer I can honestly say that this resort has thought of everything to integrate and separate, resulting in a seamless spa experience for everyone.
