Everyone is going to tell you to get more sleep or drink more water when it comes to feeling better, so you might just assume it’s a bit of a cliché and it’s not something you should really be thinking about, but the reality is that it’s a cliché for a reason because it’s actually pretty solid advice. When you’re running on fumes, everything is going to feel off – you’ll have a tired brain, a short temper, low motivation, and you generally won’t feel great. So even if it’s just going to bed 30 minutes earlier or swapping one cup of coffee for a glass of water, it can certainly get you heading in the right direction.

And of course, it’s always a good idea to move your body when you can too. You don’t need a long, fancy workout routine unless that works for you – just a brisk walk in the fresh air, a stretch in your living room, or dancing in the kitchen when you’re making dinner can be enough.

It Can Be A Work In Progress

The biggest thing to remember is that feeling like yourself again doesn’t have to happen overnight, and if you try to make that happen, you’re just going to burn out and get stressed before you see any kind of result.

It’s all about removing the layers of stress, worry, distraction, and anything else that’s been in the way so you can see who you are again a lot more clearly – if you do that, you’ll feel like you, even if it takes a little while to get there.
