I’m not the type of girl to be able to sit through 90 mins of a football match but I am the type to be able to relax and enjoy a 90-minute Irene Forte facial!
During a recent stay at the aptly named The Vineyard Hotel (Berkshire based Hotel with a heavy wine influence!), I also had the opportunity to check out their large spa facilities and services which now showcases a brand new partnership with the accomplished Irene Forte brand.
All Irene Forte products have been formulated with the finest natural, vegan friendly ingredients and they leave your skin feeling fresh and re-energized.
The spa is very popular with guests and locals alike with a good sized round pool located under a huge atrium ceiling letting in all the natural light plus a hot tub for those who are more into bubbles (not the champagne type although that could be a good idea for the future!).

The pool itself is one length all round and the ideal place for some zen time after or before your chosen treatments. Of course, towels, slippers and robes are all supplied as well as having the choice to have a light lunch and beverages in the spa’s lounge area which overlooks the pool.
With an extensive list of treatments, I was in total heaven with my chosen facial. Not only was this facial 90 mins long, it was probably the most intensive facial I have had at a hotel spa. From start to finish the staff are welcoming, helpful and excited for you to experience the new, deluxe treatments they now offer.
I went for the Etna Age-Defying Facial which uses both hot and cold volcanic stones from Mount Etna to revitalise and unwind. This session consists of a double mask application targeting all areas of the face to hydrate and encourage radiance. As well as stimulating circulation, oxygen and nutrients to aid natural collagen production. You are also treated to a hand or foot massage whilst your final face mask sets.

The whole process is a sensory overload and I was amazed at the sensations from the cold stones especially around my eyes! The aftermath of this attentive package left me glowing and I was extremely happy with the results.
Forget the ice-cold silver spoons under your eyes each morning ladies and gents, at The Vineyard Hotel Spa cold volcanic rocks, ROCK!
