XCV Bar Now Open in Leeds

A brand new bar has opened in the heart of Leeds city centre on the oldest street in Leeds, Kirkgate.

XCV Bar opened in May taking over the old Untold Bar after a £50,000 plus refurbishment. Split across 3 floors it boasts a wide range of craft lager, cocktails and spirits. Inside you can expect a welcoming atmosphere with plush décor, unique graffiti walls and much more. If you fancy your chances you can take on their “shot for a shot” challenge, attempting to score a free throw in their basketball net behind the bar.

A must try cocktail is there Pineapple Club Soda, containing a mix of gold rum, pineapple puree, lime, pineapple and almond mixer, it’s been one of the top sellers so far since opening.

On a weekend they have resident DJs playing until late with Ryan Wilson & Josh Weekes on Fridays and DJ Swagga & Isaac Mayne on Saturdays. Expect to hear a mix of R&B, house, amapiano and much more.

During the week you can head down for £3.50 pints of select lager and 241 cocktails from 4pm till 8pm Monday to Thursday. If you also work in Leeds city centre you can head down to the bar to claim a 20% off card, available to use 7 days a week.

Jake Chapman-Brown, co-founder of XCV Bar said “We’re delighted with the reception we’ve had so far since opening, it’s been brilliant. We’re really proud of what we’ve managed to bring to Leeds city centre and we’re excited to see what the future holds for us.”

He went on to say “There are plenty of special events already booked in so make sure you keep your eyes on our social media so you don’t miss out!”.

If you’re looking for somewhere unique to host an upcoming event, on their 1st floor there is a private event space perfect for parties and occasions of all sorts, complete with its own private bar and DJ set up.

XCV Bar is open 7 days a week, from 4pm midweek and 12pm on weekends until 2am, you can book tables and booths in advance through their website or just head down on the day.
