New to the vegan range and already attracting a host of new fans are Higgidy’s bite-sized Spinach and Red Pepper Mini Vegan Muffins with pine nuts and basil, made using oat milk, basil oil and butternut squash puree to create a deliciously moist muffin texture. Also new are the Bang Bang Cauliflower Dinky Vegan Rolls with a delicious flavour combination of cauliflower, sweet potato, and red pepper with Chipotle, wrapped in a vegan puff pastry and hand-topped with paprika and golden linseed sprinkles.
Higgidy have also recently introduced a new individual Roasted Chickpea Masala Pie, which has just been awarded PETA’s ‘Best Pie’ award and a delicious Petit Pois & Courgette Vegan Little Quiche, both offering quick and easy meat free meal solutions.

Higgidy very kindly sent us a hamper of their Vegan products to try. Most of us have never done Veganuary and haven’t ventured into the world of veganism, so were sceptical about the flavour and quality of meat free products, but oh my goodness, were we in for a surprise!
We don’t know how they have done it, but Higgidy have created the most delicious products imaginable! It ended up being a bun fight over who wanted what and that is saying something very unexpected from a team of mostly staunch carnivores!
Our favourites were the quiches and muffins.
