This December, The Turkey Inn, is collaborating with several Keighley businesses to help promote the great range of products and local services available in their area. The collaboration has also meant one lucky person will win a £100 cash prize by finding a Golden Ticket.
Keighley businesses including Hydration specialists Vidrate, Safari tour operator Wild Insight Safaris, Fitness studio Duo Gym and toy and game supplier Poundfun have all got involved with The Turkey Inn to offer complimentary products or a discount off bookings and services in 2026.
Every Christmas party guest will receive a goodie bag containing free products and service discounts from these local companies with one lucky guest winning the Golden Ticket cash prize.
General Manager Ali Allawa is looking forward to the festivities.
“This year, we’ve gone big on Christmas. With a great menu, beautiful decorations, big Christmas parties booked in, wreath making workshops and live DJ – the festive season is looking good. With so many local people coming through the door, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase local, independent businesses and work together to boost local industry.
Through connections, introductions at networking events and chance meetings at award ceremonies, we now know quite a few local companies. Even we didn’t realise the amazing number of national and global companies we have on our doorstep!
All these companies operate out of Keighley and the Aire Valley and when we asked if they wanted to be involved in our goodie bag, all responded with an instant yes.”
The Turkey Inn’s festive goodie bags will be handed out to every individual celebrating a Christmas party at the pub this festive season and even the team won’t know who’s going to get the Golden Ticket.
“We’ll pack the goodie bags, putting the Golden Ticket in one of the bags and give them out at random. One bag will contain the Golden Ticket, and we’ll have no idea when or who will get it!”
As part of its commitment to local business collaboration, starting on Wednesday 28th January 2026, the pub will be hosting “Beer, Bubbles and Banter”, an informal networking evening for local businesses from any industry and sector. About The Turkey Inn
The Turkey Inn is in the hamlet of Goose Eye above Keighley. An independently owned pub, they won Best Restaurant/Pub of the Year at the Telegraph and Argus Business Awards this autumn and were one of six pubs shortlisted for Best Country Pub in the Great British Pub Awards. The pub is owned by Keighley locals Steve Mortimer and Fay Howell. They bought the pub in 2020 when it was threatened with closure and conversion to houses.
