The Ivy Collection Celebrates Unsung Heroines this International Women’s Day

This International Women’s Day 2026, The Ivy Collection is proud to partner with Papa Salt Gin to celebrate the unsung heroines and pillars of communities across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Giving back to women who give so much of themselves every day, The Ivy Collection will host International Women’s Day celebrations around the UK on Sunday 8th March, with nominated women from local communities enjoying a two-course brunch* complimented by gin fizz cocktails.

From carers and community leaders to mentors, volunteers and everyday changemakers, the campaign shines a light on the women who quietly go above and beyond for others. In the spirit of giving back, The Ivy Collection and Papa Salt Gin are inviting these remarkable women to be treated to one of a series of special International Women’s Day celebration brunches.

Selected nominees will be welcomed to a complimentary two-course brunch at participating Ivy Collection restaurants, accompanied by gin fizz cocktails, courtesy of Papa Salt Gin – a toast to their generosity, resilience and impact.

Commenting on the campaign, Kate Cooper, Restaurant Operating Officer for The North at The Ivy Collection, said: “Every day we see the incredible impact women have within their communities, often without recognition or thanks. This International Women’s Day, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate those unsung heroines – the women who give so much of themselves to others. Partnering with Papa Salt Gin allows us to welcome them into our restaurants and say a heartfelt thank you in the best way we know how.”

A spokesperson from Papa Salt Gin, added: “Papa Salt was created to bring people together, and this campaign is a beautiful example of that. There are so many women quietly holding communities up – showing up, supporting others and making a difference every day. Being able to celebrate them alongside The Ivy Collection and give something back to those who give so much, feels incredibly meaningful to us.”

To help uncover these everyday heroes, The Ivy Collection is inviting the nation to nominate the women in their communities who deserve recognition. Whether it’s a friend, family member, colleague or neighbour, nominations are open to anyone who knows a woman worthy of celebrating.
