Seven Dials Market, Trick or Treeeeat.

We were so excited to be invited down to Seven Dials Market for their latest extravaganza! And like most of their amazing events this was free to attend and packed to the roof in this beautiful central London building with spooky sights and sounds.

KERB’s acclaimed street food vendors have created some fantastic child-friendly dishes to celebrate the spookiest time of the year, with Seven Dials Market space covered in bewitching decorations that are sure to get both kids and adults into the Halloween spirit.

Children will be encouraged to take part in games including a trick or treat trail – just find the six door knockers hidden around the market and uncover either a trick or a treat! There will also be free face painting between 12-2pm – something my nieces who came with me enjoyed very much. There’s Halloween fun for the adults too, with a Saturday DJ set from DJ Corey alongside a spooky skull-inspired Beetlejuice cocktail, made with vodka, Midori, pineapple and lime.

The traders will be offering one-off, spooky items suitable for children and inspired by the season, resulting in a collaborative menu sure to please and excite young eaters and adults alike. Available until the 31st, special Halloween-inspired food items will include buttered pumpkin wheelcakes from Wheelcake Island, spooky finger challah buns from Shuk; crispy ‘bat’ wings with blood mayo and lime from Bong Bongs and mummified pollitos from El Pollote. We opted for a pizza from Bad Boy Pizza as I had my 14-year-old son with us – it was pretty much the biggest pizza we’d ever ordered – but we ate the lot!

Known for its commitment to showcasing some of London’s best food traders, from established names to up-and-coming talent, KERB’s Seven Dials Market will continue to be a hotspot for food lovers during the week and onwards, with traders including Yum Bun, Curry On Naanstop, Club Mexicana and Soft Serve Society as part of one of the best roster of street food vendors anywhere in the capital.

As always with Seven Dials Market, decorations take centre stage, and this year’s display will be bigger and better than ever. With the temporary transformation of Cucumber Alley into Ghost Alley to welcome guests and get them into the mood, creepy crawlies adorning the walls in Banana Warehouse and spooky surprises popping up where you’d least expect them, the market is the perfect place to spend Halloween.

With a mix of spooky themed family fun in the creepy crawly covered main hall and gruesome food specials to surprise and delight even the biggest Halloween sceptics, the Trick or Treeeeat week will see Seven Dials Market as the most exciting place to be for both kids and adults to celebrate Halloween in London. It’s a must for all spooky lovers and foodies alike!

Trick Or Treeeeat at Seven Dials Market runs until 31st October.

Seven Dials Market is located on Earlham Street, Covent Garden.
