You know sometimes you just can’t be bothered to cook, you are hungry and want good, tasty food and a couple of drinks without the hassle of deciding what to cook and the washing up which follows?

Introducing Salvatore’s Bar & Street Kitchen, located just two doors away from family restaurant, Salvo’s, you will find fabulous hospitality, a very relaxed vibe, great food and a large selection of craft beers, wines and cocktails.
We kicked off the weekend a couple of weeks ago with a visit to Salvatore’s Bar & Kitchen and what a great Friday evening it turned out to be!
Residents of Leeds rejoice, this is the ultimate hub for a great time with a fusion of Salvatore’s favourite street food, (with his own twist).
Run by Salvatore Dammone, grandson of the late Salvo, the founder of the well-established and popular family-run award-winning Italian restaurant – Salvo’s. The family have been delivering hospitality in Leeds stretching back almost 50 years, and Salvatore’s is run by the third generation, and we predict huge success.
The team here are nothing short of excellent. The food coming out of the kitchen, cooked by Salvatore and Louis, was quick, delicious and very moreish, and the service from Clark and Esme was the ultimate in Yorkshire hospitality.
What we had:
4 Cheese Mini Arancini, KFC – mini-Korean fried chicken slider, Rare Cured Beef Parcels, Whipped Feta, Truffle and Parmesan Fries and Manchego served with truffle honey, walnuts and quince paste. Perfection!
A couple of glasses of Gavi, a pint or two of Estrella, one of Clark’s superb cocktail creations and the evening was memorable for all the right reasons.
Headingley is such a vibrant area, it’s exciting to see a great modern bar and street kitchen added for residents to enjoy. The bar is open Wednesday to Friday 4pm – 11pm, and Saturday to Sunday 1pm – 11pm.
