Lunar New Year: Tattu Celebrates The Year of The Snake

This winter, Tattu, the modern Chinese restaurant group, are thrilled to announce their celebrations for Lunar New Year with showstopping specials and unmissable competitions.

From Thursday 29th January until 12th February, to celebrate one of the biggest dates in the Asian cultural calendar, Tattu will light up in an extravagant style celebrating the Year of the Snake. In Chinese culture, snakes are revered for their grace and intelligence, often representing transformation and elegance. In honour of the sixth zodiac sign, Tattu have created the Venom & Virtue cocktail special with Hayman’s Sloe Gin, Briottet Strawberry, Aperol, Cranberry and Lime.

Tattu is offering a celebratory iteration of their much loved Imperial Roast. Diners can expect a selection of delicious imperial meats such as Aromatic Roast Duck, Lemon Baby Chicken and Caramel Soy Aged Beef Fillet and vegetarian options include Mock Chicken and Black Bean and Mock Caramel Soy Beef. As part of the Imperial Roast, guests will also enjoy side dishes with fusion flavours including Steamed Pancakes with pickles, crispy shallots and nam jim, Chinese Green Beans with sweet soy and roasted garlic, Shredded Duck Fried Rice with carrot, courgette and spring onion and Spicy Egg Noodles with pak choi, lily bulb and spring onion.

To complete the celebratory menu, Tattu have created the Lucky Mandarin dessert, uniquely shaped like a Mandarin fruit and inspired by Mandarin flavours with orange, dark chocolate and vanilla. Every dessert comes with a ‘Red Letter’ scratch card, offering the chance to win prizes. Diners can enter with a chance to win a complimentary Tattu experience, a Tattu Season Card worth £800 or a bottle of prosecco – fortune is on the menu this Lunar New Year.
