As one of the most popular bars on Bedford Place, Revolution Southampton has been central to the city’s bar scene since 2008, serving some of the city’s best cocktails and food for the last 14 years.
The UK’s premier vodka bar reopened on 18th March showcasing its remarkable transformation. A six-figure investment will make way for an eye-catching, open plan look, centered around a luxury, vibrant feel, perfect to capture those all-important Insta moments. Here’s a snapshot of the investment at Bedford Place.

The refurbishment brings us a new look to the renowned Club Room complete with a new lighting show and a renovated heated roof terrace, just in time for those long-awaited outdoor spring drinks.
This deluxe renovated Club Room will allow guests to get to the heart of the party and provide the perfect place for any celebration with DJ’s and bespoke party packages. The Club Room will be the ultimate space for celebrating those all-important special occasions. The overhaul has been carefully orchestrated to meet guest demand for a more open-plan space, with plenty of room to enjoy pre-booked tables and VIP areas. The refurbished venue will be the perfect location to cater for lunchtime diners, after work drinks, evening get-togethers, and of course, late-night partying with the finest local DJ talent.
Bubble-gum Daiquiri
When we welcomed the New Year, Revolution also welcomed a brand-new Cocktail menu – with no less than 22 new additions to complement their classic concoctions. Future favourites include the Bubble-gum Daiquiri, the French Kiss Martini, a Peach Margarita, and a Salted Caramel Martini. The menu is the bars most ambitious to date, and also features some incredible low and no alcohol options, such as the Saintly Pornstar Martini, which boasts all of our favourite flavours in a regular Pornstar.
A new revolution in going out
The brand is also continuing its mission to be carbon neutral by 2030, after hitting the headlines in 2021 for their forward-thinking tactics. One of just a handful of UK-based companies to sign up to the pledge to hit net zero, the Revolution Bars Group won the prestigious Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice for their commitment to the scheme.
One notable change for the brand was the decision to remove the passion fruit halves from its Pornstar Martini cocktail, replacing them with a rice paper alternative. Prior to removing passion fruit from their bestselling cocktail (Revolution sell over 1m across the UK each year), they were shipping 36 tonnes from South America to the UK, only for them to be used as garnish. The group has also continued their drive to reduce energy usage, dropping this by an impressive 19% since 2017.
