KEEP THE SUMMER VIBES GOING WITH NEW PALM BEACH RUM LIQUEUR

The Rum Renaissance is in full-swing and Palm Beach is leading the way with the launch of its range of rum liqueurs. The unique flavours are inspired by the easy-going nature of the Caribbean, with delicious Mango & Passionfruit and indulgent Banana & Butterscotch sure to transport you to sandy, palm-lined beaches! The brand new flavours are now available to purchase online or in-store from Tesco at just £10 per 50 cl bottle.

Rum liqueurs follow the success of whisky and gin liqueurs and can be enjoyed over ice, with a mixer or splashed in a cocktail. Typically, a rum liqueur is defined by a lower ABV catering to those looking for lower alcohol strength alternatives and vibrant but complementary flavours which are added to classic rum notes such as rich spices, supple caramel, or honeyed sweetness – and the new offerings from Palm Beach certainly tick those boxes.

Each of these exciting new products have a unique flavour, with Palm Beach Banana & Butterscotch evoking warmth including notes of tropical banana and creamy butterscotch; and Palm Beach Mango & Passionfruit featuring a smooth combination of sweetness from the mango and a tanginess from the passion fruit.

Banana Mai Tai

  • 50ml Palm Beach Banana and Butterscotch
  • 25ml amaretto
  • 25ml lime juice
  • 50ml pineapple juice
  • Wedge of pineapple to garnish.

Add all ingredients to a rocks glass with ice. Churn the ingredients until chilled and diluted. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple.

Pina Colada

  • 50ml Palm Beach Banana and Butterscotch
  • 25ml coconut flavored rum
  • 50ml pineapple juice
  • 3 tablespoons of coconut cream
  • 1 scoop of ice

Add all ingredients into a blender and blitz. Add more ice if too thin. Serve in a hurricane glass. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple or serve with a slice of banana on the rim and a drizzle of caramel.

Reggae Star Martini

  • 25ml Palm Beach Mango and Passion Fruit
  • 25ml white rum
  • 50ml mango juice
  • 25ml lime juice

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake until chilled. Fine strain into a martini glass. Option – garnish with half a passion fruit and a shot of prosecco or champagne. 

Rum Punch

  • 25ml Palm Beach Mango and Passion Fruit 
  • 25ml over proof rum
  • 50ml orange juice
  • 50ml pineapple juice
  • 25ml lime juice

Add all ingredient to a glass or tin and stir down with ice until chilled. Top with more ice and garnish with an orange wedge or yellow watermelon wedge.
