Introducing a Brand New Yorkshire Gin

If you are looking for your new hot summer tipple, then look no further, I have a real treat for you.

I want to share with you a hidden Yorkshire gem, John Roberts Botanic Request the multi award winning Yorkshire gin distilled in Stanningley Leeds. Producing exceptional spirits for exceptional people.

I have just this weekend tried a bottle of their limited-edition Electric Rose Gin; I was lucky enough to be the 2nd person to be given a bottle to enjoy and it definitely hit the spot. It tasted delicious but you have to appreciate not only the taste but also the bottle, the graphics and the prettiness of the contents, especially the fizz when poured.

“There is no better way to look at the world than looking through rose tinted glasses, So why not tint your glass with the new Electric Rose Gin.

Founder and local lad Ben Peel, previously worked as the first ever innovations manager at the famous Sipsmith as their dedicated NPD distiller, he eventually moved over to global marketing as Sipsmiths first ever global minister of education. Prior to these roles, Ben could be found bartending in many swanky bars in the hospitality industry.

Ben joined forces and brainpower with his partner Emelie Nilsson who also has an impressive career background working closely with big brands like Coca Cola and L’Oréal. Emilie’s passion for hospitality as taken her from her homeland Sweden to Australia and now she graces West Yorkshire with her talent.

Through sheer hard work and their exceptional career backgrounds, they birthed the idea to move to the independent drinks industry and along came ‘John Roberts Botanic Request’.

A massive hit locally, countrywide and now hitting the global market, after winning awards for their first baby – the London Dry and they have just won Gold Medal status at the prestigious Global Gin Masters Awards, enabling their gin brand to outgrow their current distillery in Leeds. They are about to open a bigger distillery and cocktail bar in Farsley on the outskirts of Leeds at Sunny Bank Mills
