There are few things in life more agreeable than the hours dedicated to the very English ceremony know as Afternoon or ‘High Tea’ and it doesn’t come any grander than the plethora of bite sized sweet delights and sandwiches presented at Grand Pacific, Leeds.
Available from 7th – 20th February, Grand Pacific has launched a Valentine’s High Tea featuring a delicious range of bitesize sweet and savoury delights accompanied by aromatic beverages from faraway places.
The savoury selection includes the likes of Prawn Cocktail Vol Au Vent, Duck and Hoi Sin Sausage Roll, Salmon and Tuna Tartare, Goats Cheese and Hibiscus Tart, Coronation Chicken Sandwich and Egg and Cress Sandwich.
The sweet selection consists of Lemon Tart, Passion Fruit Brûlée, Fruit Scone with Strawberry Jam, Jasmine Tea Bread, Rose Jelly and Cream, Grand Pacific Sherry Trifle and Chocolate Truffle.
Here at H&N office, we are giddy with excitement and anticipation of how good this will be, having experienced the superb food, wonderful service and amazingly opulent setting at Grand Pacific, it is always a pleasure to return and try something new.
The High Tea dining experience will make the perfect Valentine’s treat for a loved one, but we think it is something to be enjoyed with friends and family too. Especially with a few glasses of fizz! What a treat.
