Eat Leeds Announces First Cocktail and Mocktail Week

Eat Leeds has announced its first Cocktail/Mocktail Week which will see select bars and restaurants across the city take part in exciting cocktail and mocktail offers, running Monday 17 – Sunday 23 October. Offers available include two for £12 happy hours across select Eat Leeds bars and restaurants across the city, as well as a selection of specially crafted drinks, curated for one week only.

To ensure responsible drinking during the weeklong campaign, Eat Leeds will once again be partnering with First Bus, who are offering their Single £2 Flat Fare ticket which can be used anytime, anywhere across West Yorkshire. Thanks to the partnership, First Buses will serve as the designated driver, safely bringing customers home after an evening of experiencing specially crafted cocktail and mocktail week drinks offers across the city.

Eat Leeds Manager Amy Rolinson said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with First Bus again following a first successful partnership during Restaurant Week this summer. After Restaurant Week, we reached out to venues for feedback to plan our next steps, and the unanimous decision was to create a campaign that supported their night-time audiences.

“But, at the same time, it was vital that we encouraged responsible drinking and was inclusive to both drinkers and non-drinkers, allowing all to get out and enjoy the best of Leeds by night. That’s why we are so pleased to be able to partner with First Bus again, this time for Cocktail/Mocktail Week who will ensure customers will get safely to and from the city to enjoy the event.”

John Godfrey, Head of Marketing for First Bus in West Yorkshire, said: “Going out for an evening with friends or meeting up with family is one of those social occasions where the bus comes into its own as the ideal way to get into the heart of the city. There’s no need to think about parking and the added cost, plus it’s a great value sustainable travel option.

“We’re delighted to be supporting Eat Leeds with its latest campaign and look forward to welcoming customers on board for a special week of fun and enjoyment.”

As a city, Leeds is lucky to have so much variation when it comes to food and drink, and it can become expensive and overwhelming trying to test them all. Customers can also head to SALT to make the most of their salted caramel espresso martini, specially crafted for Cocktail/Mocktail Week. For non-drinkers, Fleur are offering select mocktails for only £5, while Canal Club are serving up a storm with drinks offers to complement their new Autumn menu.

Eat Leeds has a reputation for celebrating the best of the food and drink scene within Leeds, promoting bars and restaurants to both locals and customers across West Yorkshire, helping to drive footfall to the city. Most recently, Eat Leeds managed Restaurant Week, which saw over 40 restaurants across the city create set menus of £5, £10, £15, £20 or £25.
