Bolton Abbey Escapes in the Yorkshire Dales

The Devonshire Arms Hotel and The Fell Hotel, part of Bolton Abbey Escapes, have a tempting offer for new bookings to start the new year. Whether it’s to simply enjoy a meal in an inspiring country setting or the extra treat of an overnight stay too, diners can enjoy a special early lunch or dinner menu, to savour the best seasonal flavours from the Estate.

Resident guests on the ‘Bolton Abbey Escapes’ experience will enjoy an early lunch or dinner at either hotel on a complimentary basis, with non-residents paying from £15 per head for a two-course meal.

Whilst the price may be lean, the seasonal menus are full of deliciously prepared winter dishes, with a choice of either a two or three-course set menu. For example, at The Fell enjoy goats’ cheese & beetroot, toasted walnuts and balsamic glaze, followed by pan seared hake, sauteed potatoes, tender stem broccoli and dill cream sauce and classic desserts to choose from, tiramisu or apple strudel with vanilla ice cream.

At The Devonshire Arms Brasserie, starters include chicken liver parfait, red onion marmalade and brioche, followed by slow-braised feather blade, champ mashed potato and stem broccoli, with a selection of desserts, including sticky toffee pudding, with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream or dark chocolate mousse with candied orange.

For guests staying at one of the Bolton Abbey Escapes, choose between either lunch or an early dinner,  with compliments of the hotel. 

An overnight stay including accommodation and a full traditional cooked breakfast starts at £70.50 per person/ £115.00 per person for The Fell and The Devonshire Arms respectively. This promotional rate also includes the complimentary meal at the selected property.*

Also included in ‘Taste the Estate’ are complimentary use of the spa facilities at The Devonshire Arms, and access to the Bolton Abbey Estate. Therefore encouraging guests to make the most of the surrounding countryside, and unique locations of the hotels,  and enjoy the opportunity to relax in the spa for a truly restorative break this winter.

The Fell – A two-course lunch or early dinner is £15 per head; and three courses, £20 (with side dishes priced at £5.50) The Fell’s light and airy restaurant offers incredible panoramic views across the Dale from its conservatory picture windows.

The lunch menu is served between midday and 12.30pm, with early dinner served between 5pm and 6pm. Available for groups of up to 6. Reservations required.
