Leeds favourite, Blackhouse has announced it is set to unveil an evolution of its popular city centre restaurant in 2026 to mark its official ‘coming of age’.
The new direction builds on nearly 18 years of delivering high-quality, accessible dining and will introduce a refreshed food, drink and social offering that stays true to the qualities that have made Blackhouse one of Leeds’ most enduring dining destinations.
The restaurant will continue to champion exceptional steaks from both the UK and abroad as it always has, while expanding its culinary offer with a vibrant new menu shaped around local produce and seasonality. Guests can expect a renewed focus on seasonal dishes, with a menu that evolves every six-eight weeks and elevated sharing dishes that encourage a more social and modern dining style.
The Blackhouse bar, which has long been a standout social hub, will offer even more reasons to visit day or night with a broader choice of interesting wines by the glass utilising Coravin technology, an expanded range of draught beers and a new curated list of affordable cocktails.
There will also be a new all day bar food menu served from 12 ‘til close which includes a new signature “branded” burger. DJs will feature on regular rotation at the weekends promising to add an uplifting atmosphere.
The venue will continue to offer two distinct private hire spaces, The Conservatory and The Nook, ideal for celebrations, corporate gatherings or intimate dining.

The new Blackhouse GASTROBAR concept will launch in January 2026.
